I've been following a guide that uses ifoedit to strip unwanted material. The guide shows how to stip unwanted subtitles and audio streams. I need help on stripping unwanted video content, like interviews, alternative endings, etc. I think you can use ifoedit, but I don't want to stray in a wrong direction and waste much time if someone can help. Can I just not copy them to the new folder or will that not work? Besides sometimes certain files are needed for proper play. I never know which ones for sure. Thanks

Also, I have followed the IFOEdit Guide in Doom to take out extra menus and such. I think I have done everything correctly, but when I preview the new menu, I am not able to click on the menu buttons. Is this normal? What might I do to fix this? Thanks

Well, I have figured out how to get rid of extra video feeds like commentaries and deleted scenes and such with the movie still initiating correctly (bringing the main menu up, etc.) in my own way. I manually took out all files of the video content that I didn't want except that I left the ifo files. I havn't backed it up on a dvd, but it plays correctly in windvd. Let me know, someone, if this isn't the best way. Now how do I get rid of menu buttons? I don't know? How bout that. I'm replying to my own ?'s. Ha.

Ok! I think I figured out how to disable the buttons. Now, for the 90 million dollar ?, is it at all possible to delete or black-out the words(e.g. special features, trailers, etc.) on the menus, since they are not being used at all anyway for the buttons I disabled? Is this virtually impossible? Probably. Thanks

If you just want the video content then you can just copy the VOB files to a folder. You will then need to use TMPGEnc DVD Author to create the necessary VIDEO_TS, etc.. files to burn to DVD. However, you could also use DVD Shrink and the re-author option in it.

Here is a tutorial. Click on DVD Shrink for info. For burning information click on Record Now Max 4.50:
