Hi Guys
I was reading up on the Xecuter Conrctivity kit for getting a hitachi drive into modeb

Seems straight forward enough.

I tried to join the Xecuter forums to ask some more but its suspended new registrations??

I wondered if any of you guys have used this kit.
I read a few posts on the Xecuter site saying the kit fried once the PC powered up or they fried their PC etc, I just wondered if this was realy stupid users? or is there any precations needed apart from plugging the cables in the right way?

To be honest the kit is straight forward to use, the only thing that you need to concern yourself with is at the bottom of the pcb board there are bits of solder not covered but applying a bit of electrical tape to it sorts it out.
