how to compress a dvd video which converter shud i use and which formatt i put the videos in my dvd i have Nero 7 pls help me i want to make dvd movie when i put a 800 mb matrix file in the Nero vision 4 to make a dvd it gets upto 4gb i have to make a multi movie dvd disc which i can play on my TV dvd player pls help me pls

do you have a dvd burner? the best converter is vso's convertxtodvd, also might try using DVD Shrink also to remove copy protection dvd region + css free is a good one also any dvd will work also, hope this helps happy burning good luck have a nice day

Nerovision Express should work. All you need to do is choose to make a DVD-Video and import the matrix file in. You can then choose to click next or you can choose the chapter option and set chapter marks. After that then click next and folow the directions. You have a choice to make a menu. if you do not want a menu then in the top right hand corner click the pulldown menu and choose not to make a menu.

Just follow the directions. If the DVD is to large then it should ask if you want to change the quaility to make it fit a DVD5 disc. Nero has 3 settings. (Stanard Play/Long Play/Super Long Play) much like a VHS recorder.

Do the same as you would with 1 movie file but import both movie files you want to make into 1 DVD.

when i use Nero vision it freezes at some point while transcoding and when i use vsoconvertx it cannot make 2 video file in a DVD+R as the size comes out to b 5.5 gb i need 2 compress it is there ne way

If vsoconvertx makes it into a 5GB DVD run it through vsoconvertx then use 1 of these programs DVDShrink/Recode2/CloneDVD Which ever 1 you use to transcode your regualer DVD9 disc to DVD5.

If you do not want menu's I have found WinAVI is good at converting AVI files or PAL to NTSC files and it converts it pretty quick. You can add both files and have it make 1 DVD.

But I have used Nero before where it has outputted a file larger then a DVD5 disc and had to import it into a transcoder to shrink it down to a DVD5 disc.
