I'm new to using this software and I'm wondering if anyone knows how to create a keyboard shortcut to create a favorite, or bookmark for a video file. I know if can be done with a few clicks but I'd like to do it with the keyboard if possible.

AS I understand it you want to run a video file thru a hotkey?

you can bind a shortcut of any file to a hotkey in file properties.
