i need help opening this part.. i made a key for it but it still wont open at all, any ideas?

you have to keep trying till u get it ...try using a small flathead screw driver

well it looks like 1 or 2 of the clips on this part have broken off, any idea if its still possibe to take it off and how.

a friend of mine who modded mine used a hair pin to pry it open.

if ur worried about breaking then look at this tool for it..

i used a steak knife, was skinny enough with a point to fit right in there.

i had the same problem, luckily a guy was nice enough to help me out.... heres what you have to do to take the cover off...first thing, take the front cover off, where the power button is at...after that get a butter knife and pop the grey sides off. just push it in and twist it you will have to twist kinda hard, but it will pop out, then use the plastic key or whatever you are using on the back. and lastly unclip the front. hopefully that helps.
