@Dopey386 & chickenzz
In Shrink make a still pic of the 'unreferenced material'. Shrink will now handle this dvd.

I have tried to use DVD Fab, Vob Blanker and Shrinks. I must be missing something. I still can't get it to back up. I purchased the disk this morning and watched with my kids. So pretty sure its not bad media. I am still very new to this. I have Any DVD 6.0.5.0 and tried it with Shrinks. Get stuck at about 6 % with the running man. (blast him) I used a guide I found on k-probe. Will try again. Just wondering if anyone else is having any issue using this method?

AnyDVD can use an update - latest is 6.0.7.0.

Make the 'unreferenced material' a still pic in Shrink running AnyDVD in the background.

@Binkie7

I will do the update. I did notice that but got busy and never did it.

How do you make a still picture? I have never heard of doing that and really have no clue how to.

Thanks for the help

You can use 'still image' - compresses it more than 'still picture' (I always confuse the 2 :) )

Here's a pic:

@Binkie7

Thanks for the picture. I like pictures. :)

Going to try it now.

Tried to update AnyDVD and get a statement saying my Trial Version is up. Thing is I paid for it a long time ago. So now I am waiting on that support. Seem to be using allot of "support" tonight. LOL

No problem on the pic - prefer them myself :)

'reactivate' AnyDVD - use the key they sent you when you bought it. Double click on it - hopefully that will do it.

This one needs AnyDVD running or dvdfab decrypter/vobblanker.
If AnyDVD doesn't activate than open the files in shrink processed from VobBlanker and try the 'unreferenced material' bit.

They have placed the main movie in the unreferenced material folder so you cannot just make the folder an image.

would you mind telling me what program you used to create the image you posted of the "still image" option for shrink? the text boxes and the dotted-arrow-pointer lines look very very clean and nice. thanks! (was going to post this to your shoutbox but looks like maybe you don't check it...).

Aloha surfgeo :)
I use SnagIt. yeah I check the shoutbox once in awhile :)
There's always pm's.

@247dad & Dopey386
Glad to hear that did the trick ;)

@herbiev
The main movie is not in the unreferenced material so yes you can make a still image of it w/o affecting the movie.
