I cant gwt rid of a downloader!!

I updated my norton anti virua and webroot spy sweeper, then norton alerted me to a trojan. after running it said it couldnt repair or delete. i followed the support page that said to:

-Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
-Update the virus definitions.
-Restart the computer in Safe mode (Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP) or VGA mode (Windows NT).
-Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Downloader.
-Clear Internet Explorer History and files, if needed.

I did that and it got rid of the trojan, but now on start up a norton warning pops up for a downloader that also cant be remedied by norton or webroot. the recomended remedy for this on the norton site is the same. i have done all the steps recomended by nortons website several times, but even in safe mode the problem cant be ficed. i have even manualy followed the file path in the warning to try to delete, but it tells me access is denied.

its causing a lot of problems and i cant find a fix. please help.

Go here to download the trial version of Ewido Anti-spyware.

Install and update.
Restart your computer in safe mode(press F8 upon boot, select "Safe Mode" from menu and press Enter).
Open Ewdio and click "Scanner".
Click "Complete System Scan".
When it finishes scanning, set all items to "Quarantine".
Click "Apply All Actions".
Click "Save Report".
Click "Save report as" and save it to the desktop.

Restart in normal mode.
Download HijackThis by clicking the link.
Create a folder in C:\ named HjT
Extract HijackThis into the new folder.
Open HijackThis.exe and run a system scan and save a log file.
Post the HijackThis log and the Ewido report.

Go here and download KillBox.

Note: print these instructions or copy to Notepad and save it, you will be in safe mode and can't access the internet.

Restart your computer in safe mode(press F8 upon boot, select "Safe Mode" from menu and press Enter).
Open Killbox.exe.
Check "Standard File Kill".
In the "Full Path of File to Delete" box, copy and paste each of the following lines below one at a time. Then click the red button with a white X after you enter each file.
You will be prompted to confirm, click Yes.

Note: KillBox may prompt "File does not seem to exist". If so, continue with next file, but do not miss any.

Restart in normal mode.
Disable SpySweeper Sheilds because it could interfere with the fixes.
Open SpySweeper.
Click Shield Settings on the right
(or Shields on the left, depending what screen you're on).
Click Internet Explorer and uncheck all items.
Click Windows System and uncheck all items.
Click Hosts File and uncheck all items.
Click Startup Programs and uncheck all items.
Close SpySweeper. After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

Run a scan only with HijackThis, check to fix these(if there).

Run KillBox in safe mode for this file.

Restart in normal mode. Fix with HijackThis(if there).
