The problem I have is that my DVD burner on my Laptop won't burn DVD's but will burn CD's fine. I have tried using DVD Decryter, Nero, and Roxio all with the same results, "Please insert blank media". If I insert the same disk into my desktop machine it burns fine using DVD Decryter, (I have no other burning software on my Desktop machine)so media is blank. The Media according to DVD Decryter is "RITEKG04"
Have you got any ideas how to resolve this.

Sorry for not replying straight away (work Commitments). I have downloaded the Nero updates and ImgBurn and the firmware.
First of all I flashed the new firmware that didn?t work, then installed all the updates for Nero and ImgBurn.
At this moment I have only burnt an ISO file that contains data, and this burned ok. I had problems with both buffers at 90% they were both doing an impress of the light on the front of the car in Knight Rider but ImgBurn cope with that fine. So all together so far so good. I haven?t burnt anything directly from Nero yet. Hopefully this wasn't a lucky burn. Will post again if Nero works
