If you released halo 2 early, then release a DEMO of halo 3 in ENGLISH plz =)

im not sure if i heard this correctly but can you only play halo2 online if you know people already playing the game online? or can u play with random people?

Halo 2 has a matchmaking system to play with random people or you can play with your friends, or a combination of both.

so far most of the games ive played have had no lag. Maybe only 1 out of 20 games lag.

so xbox live is definately worth it eh? most people i know said its pretty good i just havent got around to it.

Yea Id say its worth it. You can even download extra content for games (Halo 2 for example).
And if you are too cheep to buy it, you can even pick up 2 free-month trial cards from some places. =)

There is nothing yet, but they are going to have new levels, game types, and who knows what else eventually.

I personally don't thnk Live is that impressive
I got the two month trial thing, but I can't do it cuz of my router. if ya ask me, tha's pretty dumb that you have to have certain routers.

Well see the thing with Halo 2 and live is that well ok for example, say I want to join a slayer game or I want people to join my own custom game or any of that, or say I want to see if there is a huge 16 player team battle going on in coagulation. Well, in pc you can do that, but not in halo 2. In halo 2 you either have to have 16 people on your friendslist AND they have to be on and then they can come in your custom game which can be really frustrating if say you want to play a game of team slayer 4 against 4 or 8 against 8...you just have to use optimatch and hope it finds that kind of match and if it doesn't well then you start over or you're stuck with what it gave you (ctf,assault,oddball,etc). I just think this would be a really nice addition to halo 2 and I wouldn't understand why it wouldn't be able to do it because all other online games even on the xbox have it. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining or anything which in a way I guess I kind of am but I don't want to come off like that heh. I just think a lot of people would really enjoy that.

Yea, thats how I wanted it to be. A list of games tellin the map, player #, and gametype, and ping. Then you choose the game you want to join.

and sources tell me that thats what their working on for halo 3 but its not 100% sure that they will change the format that halo 2 is played on live for halo 3

Woah, thats sweet! I know its gunna be a 2 person limit but just think of how it would be with 8 spartans runnin around on legendary.
My idea would be that you each get one life, and then every1 respawns at the checkpoints. Would be quite interesting.

YA that would be cool. it sucks though i live out in the middle of no where so i cant get xbox live (cause they dont offer high speed internet connections) i wish i had it so much. Do u guys know if u can get it without high speed or not??

you can get high speed with a satilite dish but it would cost a lot (damn charges) but neway u can also get it from verizion they offer high speed with phone service now

the co-op is gunna be 8 players per room. and yes each 1 life respawn at check point
