loaded,
Pleased to see that "corinadev" is now in the "inactive" status.
This application deserves a proper review, and, at the cost, well, what can one say ?
Give it a try.

DVD2ONE - just curious, if I rip an episodic disk (multiple shows, such as MASH or BUFFY) will DVD2ONE allow me to select more than one file to process. Thanks

DVD2ONE works pretty good, too bad you cannot select more then on segment on the disk. So my question is, after you rip two different segments from the disk, how do you go about combining the .vob and .ifo files so that you could just add another chapter to the end of the disk?
Thanks,
Jim

I think that dvd2one is probably, if not the best investment that can be made for the average novice who just wants a 1-disc copy of a dvd-movie with perfect sound quality and absolutely near-perfect video quality. I am amazed at how difficult it is to tell the reencoded video from the original!
The only thing I have had an issue with is that all my copies seem to freeze upon the start of the second-to-last chapter in my standalone player. It plays perfectly in my pc.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? The last 2 chapters are not playable in standalone players?
I am using a P4 2.0, 512DDR, Pioneer DVR-104 drive and Memorex DVD-RW media. Used both the new Nero 5.5.10.7 and RNM, both with same result.
(I have not yet burned to DVD-R as I am afraid of waisting a disc that will not play those last 2 chapters in my standalone.)

I have experienced similar problems, so i am trying RecordNow Max burning software to see if it makes a difference. If not then i shall change my media. If it still has this problem then i shall put it down to DVD2one or possibly my Pioneer AO4 writer

I have not had any problems playing the last 2 chapters using RecordMaxNow and Ritek 4x media and a Pioneer 105 burner, it plays correctly on my RP91K stand alone player, fyi

Freezing at the end is a media problem, use something decent and it will work fine

Although I am relatively new to the DVD-R scene, I have a few things to say about this program.
Wow. Wow. and ... Wow.
This 94kb program will bring backing-up DVD-9's to single DVD-R's to the masses.
As an experiment, I tried DVD2ONE on Gladiator R1. It took me all of 17 minutes to reduce the 6+Gb .vobs for the main movie to exactly 4.36Gb. The difference in quality is noticeable, but only in areas that have very faint color transition (ie. smoke).
For the price, ease of use, time required and output quality, this program is a keeper.

I would recommend that anyone contemplating the purchase of DVD2one check their download web page and make sure the site is up before purchasing the software. For the last four days they have been having "technical difficulties" and have posted that info on their download page - NOT on the "buy it" page. So people have purchased the software and then not been able to download it! I still feel it works as advertised - if you can get it!

Yes the mailed version is exact the same version as the downloadable.
Hopefully in the begining of next week our server problems should be over and the download page should be back up.

There is impossible for me to purchse it beacuse of the economic rules of my country regarding purchases by internet in foreign currency,

We are still experiencing the DDoS attacks but the site should be browseable.
But you could try out spannish mirror site, i know the text is all in spannish but the Buy part should be really selfexplaining.
Most likely the spannish site is going to be a full lingual mirror for our site, so we have multiple sites running somewhere next week.
Thanks again for you're kind words and responses we really appriciate the feedback we've gotten so far on our little product :)

soullive: No, you can't copy episode discs with the current version, since you can only choose one titleset. IFOEdit or DVDXCopy is the way to go with these so far.
