kyle -

the correct url should be http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/1249/sta500169xf.jpg not
http://img261.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sta500169xf.jpg

Also 800kb is a little big for dialup users, so you might want to resize that pic

Creaky I don't think anyone could possibly have a smaller area than that one? Unless they have a setup like my first pic ;-)

wow striker thats quite a jumble of wires you have in your case...might want to try cleaning them up as it dramatically increases airflow

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

DJScoop, airflow is actually good. I don't have a window on my side panel so not concerned with how pretty it looks. However, any suggestions on how to clean up the look in case I decide to mod the case with a window kit?

round IDE cables do wonders, and dont buy one of those window kits, just get a jigsaw, some plexiglass, and some pop rivets and you're all set.

I'm also thinking about a modular PSU. What do think. That with round cables would def do the trick.
