hi guys, iv got a 2mb adsl in the uk, and im running it through a 100mb ethernet router (eTEC. Im only getting a max of 25 kb/s from dowloads with a lots of seeds, iv left it overnight and im still getting the same speeds, can anyone see why?? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ok, for those of you having problems with step 9, here goes.
Note: This only applies to http://isohunt.com.
1. Open Isohunt and search for the torrent of your choice. Click on it and you will see a tracker list.
Take those trackers, and copy them to notepad. Then start the download and paste the tracker list here in Bitcomet.

thats great, thanks very much! I've read about adding trackers but i didnt know where to add them to, but this has cleared things up for me, thanks again. I'll reply again when i've tried it out.
Does it help at all to subscribe to the trackers?

Yes, because it helps you connect to as much seeds as possible.

just checked, and im already using all the trackers provided with my download from isohunt, and i only ever get about 5kb/s if im lucky, this is worse than dc++, why could it be that im getting such slow download speeds?? Its the same for anything i download at any size. Please could someone help? I'd never dream of getting anything over 20kb/s, but i should do as we've got 1mb broadband!

Ok im quite stupid when it comes to this i ues bitcomet0.60 have download speeds of about 1-20kbs i have a modem/router which i connect through my ethernet port .I have a 2.2mb connection and worst of all the files i download are usually about 4.9gb so it takes ages to download so i really need help . the tweak test say i got 2140/361kbs so wot is the prob i seen my friend use it with only one peer and got 64kbs download WHY help me please

Hello I just upgrade the dsl, and i already try every thing, the speed test, and set everything as you said in the first page, the speed test result came out very good download speed was 4295kbps and upload speed was 1705kbps, but when i download the movie about 4.3gb
it's speed is about 15-39kb/s. so please can you help me out please.

He just set random numbers that will DEFINETELY lock up your internet and should not help increase speeds at all.
And, honestly, whos information do you believe in more, the guy getting 1200 Kb/s or the guy who is getting 80 Kb/s?

Under advertised speed, use the max speed you got after taking the speed test.
Ok, go to the site and run the test. Run it and when it is done it will take you to a page where it tells you to insert your max speed, your OS, etc. Fill this information in and for the max speed use the speed you got in the Speed test from the first steps. After this is done, it will take you to a results page and the bottom will tell you what, if any, problems ur having and how to increase youre TCP connections.
