DJEN VERSION 1.30 is abit unstable allright, i use V1.20 meself.
It will be awhile before a downgrader comes out for 2.01+, but u can run alot of stuff on ur 2.01+, i control my PS2 with my PSP, am running DivX movies at 480x272 which is the the full res of the psp, quite near UMD quality as it is, the only real advantage of having a 1.50 is playing backups, alot of the older apps and emu,s r now running on higher firmwares.

hi all,
Got the eloader working every time on my 2.6 psp.
Problem is getting the C64 emu working.
I have tried the 2 emu's from fanjita's site, vice crashes and the other one loads ok but when i hit the L1 button (shoulder button) it says no rom image files. I am using d.64 and t.64 files and have tried to put them in loads of different folders and still can't get them to work. I really need to get this working, the C64 is my fave of all time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
B.

Put a folder called C64ROMS in the root menu of ur PSP. Its the menu that contains the PSP folder and MP_ROOT folder.
Not all of the roms will work.

Tried that, i have loads of roms (something like 100,000) and none of them will work? Its doing my head in. I thought it was the file extension that was causing the problem. Any other ideas?
Thanks

By any chance did u just put a zip file into C64ROMS? Because that wont work, u,ll have to unzip them and place them into the folder.

sorry sudds just a quick question do i just have to scroll from left to right at the bottom of the screen for the files to be seen? It just seems to be saying no image files found when i scroll through, tried pressing x, O, triangle etc nothing happens. The emu seems stable enough not crashing or anything just not seeing the roms for some reason.
Its driving me mad..........
Thanks for the help.....

Hi Sudds,
Yeah put the folder in caps, made copys of it and tried putting it in about 5 locations and still nothing, I wonder if I am doing something stupid as the emu doesnt seem to be the problem. I am using version .02 of the emu and my firmware is 2.6 just to fill you in.
I am completely out of ideas. When i use vice the psp just resets every time even though fanjita's site says it should work.
Thanks for you patience.....

It definetly works man, i just got it again last nite to run some tests and i was playing dizzy no bother. I made a mistake in tellin u to put the C64ROMS folder in the root menu, Put the folder into the PSP folder, beside MUSIC and all the rest.
When u do that start it up and highlight the wee star and all the games should be there.
Dont put the games in seperate subfolders, just put the actual game file
into the C64ROMS folder.
