Its looking to be released in september, and yes you can upgrade from 2.6 to 3.0..

Cool, does anyone know the specs? Wot is it goin to do better than my 2.6?
Has anyone heard anything of the new game:
Gangs of London?
it sounds cool, but i think it will be very similar to GTA

Well I have 2 psps
1 Black 1.5 ( Since 3-24-05 I stood in line till midnight :D)
1 White 2.6 ( Since November of 05 )
Oddly though i havent done anything on my Psp's since november I think the PSP scene is full of babies. On another note I helped pioneer the scene. Does anyone remember when the team (forgot name) was going to release that firmware for psp that could be updated on any psp (before 2.0 downgrade i think)? Well I was upgraded a Mod on the team's IRC channel and allowed people to chat and actually updated progress on it until it was denounced a fake :) so i have had some experience in the scene and yet im only 13 :) !

well its true Yoshi is nothing but a copier! I have talked to him personally and he doesn't know anything! @sturgee Yeah it was awesome at midnight but i was in a small town and there was only 2 people waiting:( but hey it was still i good time i remember i stayed up till 4am playing it in my hotel. ahhhh good times :)

the ps1 emu will be made by sony
most likely you will have to download them from sony meaning you will most likely have to pay for em.
also you probably wont be able to take em off the memory card and most likely will be encrypted like the ipod songs you can download.
as for the psp channels
he was refering to IRC which is a chat room type program

Sony are yet to release 4gb and 8gb, it will probably come out in september in conjuction with 3.0 firmware, however sandisk have already released there 4gb..

Helo all (again!)
got a new problem-
on some of my iso files that i have, for example 'practical intelligence and tokobot' the compatible iso chart from psp-hacks says
"system menu and mph/run umd"
i currently have umd emu 0.8c running on my 1.5.
any help would be appreciated- thanks!

First You will need to have the MPH Loader loaded on your memory stick along with flash dumps of 2.0 or 2.5 firmware. Or, you can use Run UMD Experimental, which will need to be installed on the memory stick. Basically when one of these is installed and setup properly, you only need to open UMD Emu like usual, change the "Direct Load" setting to "System Menu" for the iso and run the iso. It will kick you out to the main menu again (but it will be tricking the PSP into thinking the iso you chose is the UMD in the drive). From the menu, run MPH Game Loader or RunUMD and you will be in business.

Hello sturgee, seems we have a lot in common, i'm confused with all this new prx and devhook stuff for the new games, and dont have a clue on what to do next, and from what i can see, we're ridin in the same boat. Our second similarity is england, im from near manchester. But a major difference lol, you're a blonde girl, im a non-blonde guy lol.
