hey, people,,
i deleted all the files as i coulden`t get it to work,,
anyways i`m still goin to try and make a downgrader FOR 2.80 TO BE DOWNGRADED TO A 2.0,,!!!!!!!!!...
could any of u lot give me ideas that could work to downgrade the psp, and i will test them,, and if we did one that work!!!!(unlikely),
i would name the downgrader after the person,, who gave me the suggetion that worked,,!!

so sony programms the psp to brick itself if the software gets modifys or in this case downgraded.

will if you try to use an application that is unstable like alot of these 2.70 downgraders it will brick your psp and it will not work

yea i guess they use it for spare parts but if they could find a working mobo they should be in good hands

well if it isnt a final project its best not to test unless your a dev and the way you can tell its bricked if you try to turn it on but the led is green for a while then just shuts off without displaying a screen image or anything

if sony dont encouruge homebrew but want us to update wats the point of the update to brick my psp i sent it back and got all my money back and a hundred more they said it was a mistake

yeah but once its bricked you cant unbrick it can you so there must be a way to see before you apply or install the downgrader

well some bricked psp may be able to get fixed if it isnt a serious reason like if you try to do a certain persons 2.71 downgrader by upgrading to 2.8 and then removing the ms at 0% and replacing it with another ms with a 1.5 update that will automatically brick and is not removable but in some cases you can fix a bricked psp

so does the downgrader put the system down to 1.5?
and even if it does wouldnt you need the sauce code or a code so the psp thinkts the programs officially made by sony?

yer so far the highest firmware psp to be put back to 1.5 is 2.6( you may have guessed by this thread), i dont know much about how they do it etc, but they find exploits or security holes in the psp firmware, then run code or summt lol magic happens and it makes the psp 1.5 lol :-/ you may want to go to wikipedia and look up psp homebrew :)

just look in my sig for all your psp needs lol nut yea the way they make a downgrader is by finding a hole in the security system say you wanna create a 2.6 downgrader you will need 1.5 fw dump and a 2.6 fw dump then you take the 2.6 fw dump and try to make it compatible with the 1.5 this is also they way to make devhooks but devhooks are alot quicker and easier then a downgrader and that pretty much sums it up in a nutshell lol
