For your PSP games you put the ISO's in the ISO folder and in in X/PSP/Game/ you create a folder with the PS1 games name and put the EBOOT.PBP and if needed Keys.BIN in that folder.

@xython- you might want to get a hold of a 1.5 recovery to revert back to 1.5, and then re-flash your firmware to 3.40OE, something may become corrupted along the way..That should solve your issue..did you use the 3.40OE easy winstaller from psp-hacks? or something else? Once you get back to 3.40OE-then you should format your memstick so it creates the correct folders for you..Put your ISO/cso's in the ISO folder in the root of your memstick-PSX games in the GAME folder..

for ratchet and clank you need to bump up your processor speed in the recovery console-
You may also have a bad iso rip for those games, because both work for me, and I also have 3.40OE. Try getting different ones..

sorry-
First you power off your PSP all the way by holding the power switch up for about 5 seconds(not standby)-Then when powering back up, hold the R trigger button at the same time..It will bring you to the recovery console. From there, you scroll down to the CPU speed option. You can safely boost your clockspeed up to 333mhz for both options (XMB & ISO/UMD) the only drawback is decreased battery life.
When you are done, hit back to bring you to the main menu, then hit exit to close out and save your settings..you PSP will restart automatically.

No problems..Its usually hit or miss with those iso's anyway-Depends on who ripped it to begin with, and its probably passed a few hands along the way before it got to you. Just have to keep searching until you find a good one...

I downloaded the basic file, then the 1.5 and 3.4 official firmwares as directed, and did the create a data file thing and copied it over.
I did so again, using the winstaller things. What I did was a copied the various files to /GAMES/RECOVERY/ and ran them in recovery mode. The first time it made a data file just fine, so I deleted and copied over the actual flasher, and it worked great.
Sorry for the spazzing out on the boards, I was pretty sure I bricked the darned thing yesterday. :)

For the guys struggling with only 4 games recognised on the memory card, check the file sytem of thye memory card. The PSP formats the memory card to FAT32 and for some reason the PSP only shows 4 games.
Format your memory card with your PC to file system FAT and manually add the files or be lazy and format the memory card in the PSP then copy the files onto your PC and transfer back when the card has been formated by the PC.
Ratchet and Clank will work when the CPU is set to 266

I've noticed with some ISO, that they don't run right away, even if you put them in an ISO folder. I've experienced that first you need to extract them using WinRAR, and make sure you copy the UMD data file, and put it along with the game in the ISO folder.
Anybody else have to do that?
PSP: 2.5-> 3.40-> 3.50-> 1.5->3.40 OE-a
Wii: (sucks for hacking)
PS3: If I had $600 for pissing around, i would buy one.

cnj0_6 I had the same problem with only 4 games being recognised in a new 4GB card, couldn't even add music files as they were not recognised as being present.
Make sure when you format it with your PC that you change the file system to FAT instead of FAT32.
I now have 5 ISOs and some music on the card and they are all recognised.

Heres a little tip I picked up a while back...
**VERY IMPORTANT - back up your current MS to your computer
with PSP connected to PC via USB - take a note of the drive letter
now open up a DOS Window
type the following
format <drive>: /FS:FAT
where <drive> is the drive letter
when asked about cluster sise answer YES
Takes about 5 minutes.
done
I have done this and my PSP loading time from MS has doubled.

well transfer time also depends on how fast your USB connection is as well..I have tried it, and it made a noticable difference. When you are done formatting, just place the folders back onto the memstick.

I will try to find new one.
P.S. I have original 2GB magic gate from!!!

Hey, I have a 3.40 OE-A and having some problems, can someone please help me?
I have downloaded many ISOs n CSOs and whenever i try and put it on my PSP in the ISO folder it reads:
Cannot copy Wipeout Pure: Cannot find the specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name.
I have tried over 8 ISOs and 6 CSOs, I was once able to put Gundam and Star wars on it but then I deleated it because i wanted to try to put other games on it, then tried to put it back and it didnt work. I have a 1GB card and the games are only 400MBs.
Thanks
