I'm planning to buy a network adapter for fat ps2 . I checked in the internet and saw many types. Does anyone know which type is compatible to my SCPH-30001 R ps2. Thx !

where did you see many types? there's only one official one which is the only one I'd recommend you buy. The other different types that you saw mnay have been 3rd party.

You don't want a generic Network Adaptor especially if you plan on putting a Hard Drive in your PS2...The Generic Adaptors don't have HD Support

Buy it from a shop. Same place you bought your PS2 would be a good start.
There's very little chance anyone would know a website in your area from which to buy it from. Although, you could try lik-sang.com

i asked the shop i bought my ps2 from and they replied that out of stock. I checked that website but couldnt find any. Should i just buy it off from amazon.com
