I recently acquired a set of DVDs of "Incredible Hulk" and "Green Acres" from different people. All of these DVDs skip (I don't know what else to call it), meaning... every so many minutes the film slows for a second. What is this called? Does anyone know? It's tough for me, a DVD newbie, to explain this to fellow traders. The folks I got these from never mentioned this in our deal, so maybe this is just typical of homemade DVDs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Some DVD Players do not support certain DVD R media.

I believe that you are refering to Hulk, the movie not yet released. Read the forum rules as it is illegal to specify on this site that you are purchasing illegal movies. you also state that you bought these from other people meaning that you are buying pirated DVD Movies, please do not do this on the Afterdawn website.

No, I'm not referring to the new Hulk. These are old TVs shows put onto DVDs and traded. That's allowed to be mentioned?

Right ok. Technically you are still infringing upon copyright protections, i suppose you do that everytime you record off the television. For your own use that is generally widely accepted. However, trading in them is not. Im not sure about the forum rules on this one though, suggest you ask a moderator.

In relation to your problem ill guess that you are using princo media. I find that at every chapter using princo discs, sometimes a second or two pause will occur.
Incompatibility issues.
