mydvd won't finish burning

I have recently tried to compile a dvd in mydvd containing episodes but when I hit burn it just pauses. If I didn't know any better I would say it's burning properlly but hours go by and I know somethings wrong. What should I do? Also I saw a similar thread where a guy advised on using NERO with audio and video files-but will that way keep the menus mydvd created?

Yeah, it should do. Put all the fiels that you created in MyDVD into a folder called VIDEO_TS and then burn that folder to the disc using Nero (make sure you burn in data mode). This will then play on your DVD player.

good, ill try that. Also if I use AVI files instead of mpegs (since they take up more space)would I be able to burn them onto dvd's so they can play on all players or some players (IE-those that can read vcd)?

Avi is different to VCD format. However, there is a umax player available from http://www.bigpockets.co.uk for £119 that will paly DivX fles, so maybe you could put a high volume DivX on to DVD, make sure it is as a UDF/ISO though.
