hi im new but a fast learner! i have copied Fifa 07 to my hd and then 2 a DVD-R
when i put the disc in the ps2 it stops during the final loading stage ! completley baffed please help me
ps i have succsess with many other games ... i heard most EA sports give this prb ... Cheers

Had you read some of the other topics posted in the last few days about this game, then you wouldn't of needed to ask this question.
You need to rebuild the game to make it smaller, so it will load with Swap Magic.
If you dont know how to rebuild, then read some of the sticky topics, or do a forum search on rebuilding PS2 games.

You need to reburn it properly.

Like other FIFA games? Only FIFA Street 1 & 2 needed a special patch, all the other FIFA's worked just with a simple rebuild.
You could try Gnie's tool but it doesn't always work.
A manual rebuild is much more reliable & won't corrupt the image.

How do you do a manual rebuild?
I followed the instructions in this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/275350
to backup Fifa 2007,I've done it several times before for some other games and they all worked, however this time it doesn't.
The game tries to load then freezes at the same point every time?
Can anybody please guide me through the process of backing this game up?

If you have the PAL version.. and want NTSC...
During boot, hold Triangule + X
After the Fifa 07 logo and a little loading, will appear a 60 / 50 Hz selector..

Where can you download apache from nowadays, the link that is provided in one of the guides, is out of date. The website wont load??

Hello every one, im totally thick at this,i have DVD Decrypter and iso buster but still cant get fifa 07 to work with swap magic,could any kind person put the instructions as simple as possible here for me,i also have Nero 6...remember me and computers dont get on..cheers

open DVD Decrypter,click on MODE,then ISO THEN READ R...Then select a destination file to save to..then click decrypt...When done you should have two images in the folder you saved to,one will say ISO by it.open up ISOBUSTER,take the image with iso by it into ISOBUSTER,then drag the files as the appear in ISOBUSTER to either ROXIO,or Nero..Iused ROXIO,i then burnt to disc at 8 speed...it works perfect..let me know how you get on.any bits you dont understand just ask again.

Thanks to all who have taken the time and effort to reply, you've been most helpful.
I just managed to make it work before I read your suggestion Plugfooty but thanks anyway.
All I did was followed the steps in this thread...

BUT instead of using Gnie IML to Iso I used Apache 2 as suggested in this thread...

then used DVD Decrypter to write the resulting image to disc at 2x.
Don't ask me how or why but now it seems to work, in fact I'm playing it at the moment.
As I said I tried the first method about 5 or 6 times with the same result each time, could it possibly be that the problem lies with Gnie iml2iso although I have used it many times in the past on different games with sucess?

I must say I haven't noticed any issues like that. I did notice that the referee seemed to be a little slow in blowing for a foul now and then, almost as if he was playing the advantage then changed his mind, it didn't interfere with the gameplay though.
I'll keep a closer eye to see if theres any problem with the commentary next time I play and if so I'll try burning at a higher speed.

hey i tried to back using dvd decqrepter to make an image and use isobuster ant then burn them onto Nero according to the order, the ishue i am getting regarding it is when i am making folder using isobuster it goes according to alphabetical and i cannot even boot it by swapmagic, please if there is any order please can u write all the files in order most appricated

i dont understand why you are making a folder with isobuster, after you have opend up the iso image with isobuster,just drag the files as they appear into Nero..all the files that is

i have fifa07 in my HDD in my ps2 and it works but its in black and white and the screen starts flipping out...no really playable..does that mean i have to rebuild it?
