This is what I have after the movie (Shaft) has been decrypted/compressed.

With Nero (Burning Rom or Enterprise Edition)

Open Nero & follow wizard thru :
DVD
Compile a DVD
Other DVD Formats
DVD-Video
(it'll say that only BUP IFO VOB files are acceptible here , which is ok cos thats what we have to give it)

click on red VIDEO_TS folder & in the blank space that is now ... the 2nd column along
Drag n drop all BUP IFO VOB files into empty VIDEO_TS folder
Hit the 'burn' icon & when promted set the speed to X1 , especially if the compressed movie is over 2hrs

Hope I've helped

Thanks to those who responded. I finally figured it out and now Shaft is playable.

Don't use the Nero wizard, but rather select new compilation, then DVD VIdeo, which is the third option from the top on the left hand side. After that, select NEW, which is on the top right hand side.

You then have AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS folders on teh left side. Find your files from you movie under file browser & drag all of them into the VIDEO_TS folder on the left. After that, just select to burn the disc and it should work. I'm glad I finally figured this out, because it took alot of searching the net to get this done. I'm very ignorant when it comes to computer related processes. Thanks again.

I would tend to burn as an ISO/UDF file in Nero and place all the files in a VIDEO_TS folder.

Rotary, if you are ever unsure of what files to include when burning the DVD, just run the VOB's only through TMPGEnc DVD Author and it will create all of the other necessary ones for you. It is handy for doing series.

Also, i find Record Now Max 4.50 much better program to use.

Yeah, basically what you do is rip the whole DVD, dont worry about compression or anything to a folder.Rip the other DVD(s) youmay be doing also to a seperate folder. Now, open your TMPGEnc DVD Author program and create a new project. Select the files (VOB's) you wish to inlcude in the DVD-R. Then click on begin output. This program will create all the DVD fiels necessary and put them in a VIDEO_TS folder. You can then compress it if necessary
