I'm tired of copy and pasting the whole thing so i will copy and paste a link that leads here for all my answers >_<

first of all download this:
http://developer.motorola.com/?path=1.2.6.30.777
Then unzip it, and run it. Then plug your phone in, it should then say "1 device connected" Then it will say new hardware found! When it asks to install drivers click on the one that says do it just click the thing that says you want to do it yourself. Tell it to 'include this folder in the search' give it the folder u unzipped the program to, then click next it will find the drivers, just keep clicking next or yes. When it is done, another driver install window will pop up, keep doing the exact same thing (search in the specified folder) and repeat untill the install driver box stops popping up. [it will install a different driver every time] then goto
http://www.motomodders.net/
and become a memeber then goto the tab: download>software>p2k software
and on that page download:
P2KTools Version 0.7.1.9 by Bezol
then once it is downloaded unzipped and running, run the UID extractor when they are both running. Plug in your phone and wait, then goto the p2k program and click 'refresh' Now you have full access to your phone! including A:\ and C:\ BUT DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING THAT IS ALREADY ON YOUR PHONE, BECAUSE IF YOU ARE A NOOB LIKE MYSELF YOU WILL TOTALLY SCREW IT! anyway that being said you can goto: on p2k software of course!
C>mobile>>auido
then drop and drag any music file you want! Or pictures or videos!
PS: i know it is a very long process but trust me it is worth it! and better then any 'included' motorola software!

Ok this is for games... not any other types of file, for my full guid search the forum or PM me anyway here we go:

first of all download this:
http://developer.motorola.com/?path=1.2.6.30.777
Then unzip it, and run it. Then plug your phone in, it should then say "1 device connected" Then it will say new hardware found! When it asks to install drivers click on the one that says do it just click the thing that says you want to do it yourself. Tell it to 'include this folder in the search' give it the folder u unzipped the program to, then click next it will find the drivers, just keep clicking next or yes. When it is done, another driver install window will pop up, keep doing the exact same thing (search in the specified folder) and repeat until the install driver box stops popping up. [it will install a different driver every time] then go to

Then install this:
http://developer.motorola.com/?path=1.2.6.28

then this:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Te.../JADMaker.shtml

Now drag and drop your .JAR file onto the JAD maker icon... then put the newly created file and the .JAR file into a folder.

INSTALLING GAMES

Stage 1(Go to the Java App Loader in your phone's menu):
1) Note: Do not plug your USB cable into your phone until the next step. On your phone, go to Main Menu -> Settings -> Java Settings -> Java App Loader . Once you click on Java App Loader , it should display Insert cable now

2) Plug in your USB cable. After a second or two, the display on your mobile should say: JAL link is now active. Wait for that message to disappear and for it to return to the main java menu

Stage 2(MIDway):
3) Run MIDway

4) A dialogue on MIDway should say: Cannot open serial port. Do you want to change port settings? Don't worry if this doesn't appear - just go to Step 8 as this probably means that your setting are OK.

5) Click Yes

6) Another dialogue box will appear with Communication Settings.
Your setting should be:
COM port: COM3 (see Determining what COM port you are using, below).
Baud Rate: 11520 (see Determining the Baud Rate, below).
AT command: AT ('AT' must be written in upper case)

7) Click OK

8) Click on the Open JAD button and select the .jad file of the game. Remember that the .jad file and the .jar file must be in the same directory.

9) Click the Send JAD button next to it.

10) The right hand sofkey on your phone will now have DOWNLD . Click on this, and wait for the game to download and install. Don't worry if the following is shown on your phone's display:
Application installed - but may have limited functionality.
It's a standard message and is displayed for each and every game. On 95% of the games that i've played on my V500, i've never noticed any limited functionality.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Determining what COM port you are using
1) At this stage, your USB should be plugged into your phone. On your PC, go to Phone and Modems Options(on XP) in Windows Control Panel.

2) Click the Modem tab. You should see something similar to the following:

Modem...............................Attached To
Motorola USB Modem...........COM 3

3) Make a mental note of the COM port that you're are using. This is the COM port to use for MIDway

NOTE: The last part of this tutorial [all the text after 'INSTALLING GAMES' was not written by me, it was copied from the Moto Hackers bible, which in turn, was copied from a different [unknown to me] source... so the credit for the last half probably should go to the author other moto hackers bible...

What are the 2 files from motorola ?

When I click (or copy/paste) either links:
http://developer.motorola.com/?path=1.2.6.28
http://developer.motorola.com/?path=1.2.6.30.777

...it just redirects me to homepage (http://developer.motorola.com/)

Thanks !
