Studio 9 file format for compressing DVD

What file format do I need to use for DVD Shrink, to compress to fit on 4.7 DVD? I am working with Mpeg video files. I have 10 minutes over size. I have never used the DVD Shrink.

HEY SPROKY
OPEN SHRINK
CHOOSE OPEN FILE
CHOOSE THE FILE
AND CLICK OK
THEN SHRINK SHOULD READ
ONCE ITS DONE
CLICK BACKUP
THEN SAVE WHEREVER U WANT
AND THE BURN IT

HEY SPROKY IF UR FILES ARE MPG(WHICH IS VCD FORMAT)
U MEAN A SOFTWARE THAT CONVERTS MPG TO VOB
THEN ONLY U ABLE TO COPY TO DVD AS DVD DISK

Thanks Vamsilak,

I ended up just removing a couple of clips to fit on DVD. Yeah, I'm not sure if I have the correct files (VOB) to be imported into shrink. I will play around with it. Thanks again. This is a great website.
