How to boot PS2 in HDD

So i have a old model of PS2+mod chip+HDLoader(burned)+200GB HD (maxtor).

My question is : how do i boot my PS2 directly on HDD because everytime i want to play a game of HDD i have to put first HDLoader.

Is there a way to do it without having to use HDLoader everytime i want to play games from HDD?

not unless your mod chip is one of the higher end ones that allow you to boot apps directly off of a mem card.

is there a way to use the HDD as a "memory card" for saving the games on it?

err.. none that im too sure of.. but you can use the independence exploit and get a copy of codebreaker 9.2 ELF and a larger size mem card. [I have a 32MB and an 8MB] and use codebreaker to copy saves games to your comptuer OR your hard drive. [might as well to your computer.]
