Yes you will need the main movie IFO file !

A typical VIDEO_ST folder of a DVD is similar to :

VIDEO_TS BUP 16,384
VIDEO_TS IFO 16,384
VIDEO_TS VOB 43,008
VTS_01_0 BUP 77,824
VTS_01_0 IFO 77,824
VTS_01_0 VOB 1,695,744
VTS_01_1 VOB 1,073,565,696\
VTS_01_2 VOB 1,048,565,696 \ <-- This is the Main movie
VTS_01_3 VOB 1,048,565,696 /
VTS_01_4 VOB 589,365,248 /
VTS_02_0 BUP 18,432
VTS_02_0 IFO 18,432
VTS_02_0 VOB 43,008
VTS_02_1 VOB 6,014,976

You would need to take this file -> VTS_01_0 IFO 77,824 <- in rip unencrypt process

(This is just an example case above , but the main movie IFO is 2 above the VOB files selected).

You only need
VTS_01_0.IFO = 92

VTS_01_1 = 1.048.574
VTS_01_2 = 1.048.574
VTS_01_3 = 1.048.574
VTS_01_4 = 1.048.574
VTS_01_5 = 568.468

You DO NOT need this one : VTS_01_0 = 328.360 <--------- forgot this one!

Then run all files thru DVD2One v1.2

Around 4.438Gb will fit onto a DVD-R. You will probably have to compress slightly in DVD2One or DVD Shrink

You have the option to make EXTRAS still images in DVD Shrink Rotary

I did it on a large DVD that had to be done on FULL-DISK..

Basically - still picture will show you one frame instead of 12 frames i think. So you get a still jumping effect from frame to frame. Im not a big fan of it and would rather just cut it out completely rather than have it as stll.

Im glad you liked the guide, BaaBaa and I did one on Record Now Max 4.50 and i intend to produce a few more over the next few weeks.

You can find it all at http://www.chrismccann.co.uk
