hello all
i am new here so hopefully my question isnt too newbieish,
i downloaded a bin file of a move and i tried burning it in burnatonce by making a cue file (read the post on how to do it), ive also tried to burn the bin and the cue seperate times in nero, fireburner, burnatonce, and alcohol 120% and every result has been when i put it in the dvd player i get a munu that says mp3 on the top of it, ive wasted about 20 cdr's trying to get this to burn!
it is an svcd bin 808 mb made a cue file for it please help someone!
thank you
joe

Dunno if its possible to ovveride menus and stuff when burning images but you could extract the contents of the BIN file and burn that as a (S)VCD.....just uncheck the "Enable Menu" box in the Menu tab

Yeah do all of that in Nero (the burning part that is)... for the extraction, use CDMage, ISOBuster, WinISO or whatever (heck I think WinRAR can do it too)
I find that (S)VCD images for me at least, are hit and miss if i use the image file so i just extract the movie part and burn it myself

In ISOBuster look in the MPEG2 folder... select the MPG file, right click and click Extract... now in Nero, use that file to burn the (S)VCD

Click on the little plus sign next to Track 1. Now keep clicking on those plus signs until you see MPEG2
Actually it might be in a different folder and the extention might be .DAT
Either way you are looking for the biggest file inside that image. Extract that file and use it to burn a (S)VCD in Nero

got to track 1 on isobuster
thats as far as it goes though no more plus signs its saying its 700mb.
i can right click on it and my options are:
extract user data
extract raw but convert to user data
treat as video only extract but filter only m2f2 mpeg video frames (i tried that and got a 0kb file)
and extract raw data (tried that and tried to burn it came out as a cd1 file tried to burn it as an image didnt work as well as an SVCD and wouldnt load)
this is the weirdist bin ever if you can still help me out it would be GREATLY appreciated.
thank you for all

Firstly, the CUE file is just a bunch of text pointing to the BIN file. Secondly, are you sure this image is of a SVCD/VCD? Could it be a fake?
