I've had my BEST burns with the 8X DVD+R's coded MCC-003. Quality scans of 97 to 99. Very Good. (Almost impossible to find these).

I have not had as good of luck with the MCC-004's in the 16X DVD+R's with scan quality of 95 to 98 - still very acceptable, but I prefer higher scan quality.

Is there a good place to learn what the 16X or 8X or 4X means when buying blank dvd's? I see you said something about scan quality???

ian2k5 if you are Canadian you can find thos Verbatims of 8X up here very easily. Just like the Sony 16X- (should be TY'S). Its just in the USA you have TY'S own brand and much cheaper prices on everything else then we do up here.
