xecuter and eeprom retieving???

Sup all, ok this is my deal, my xbox hardrive went out on me, never got around to modding it, and i dont have the eeprom bin, so, i have to install a mod chip which will be xecuter2.6, can anyone give me a detailed tutorial on how to get the eeprom using the modchip, the programs i will need and all that great stuff, really apreciate it thanks

i dont know about the x2 but on my x3 it has a option to load xbox eeprom to modchip and lock hdd with eeprom from chip hope this helps in some way

yea that helps alot, my next question is, do i make an hd with no eeprom and stick it in the xbox then load the eeprom from the board to the hd???,??

i have to get chip either way, i have 2 boxs that the hd went out on, an have no eeprom, and a friend was gunn sell me 2 chips , so i order the adpaters so i can swap em out to repair, , but he backout outa the deal, so now my adapters are here but no chips, lol, so i am gunna order a chip today or tomorrow, cuz i have a 1.5 and a 1.6versions xboxs, so i would apprecate ur help when they get here,thanks man

Yo Cearel, just wanted to keep ya up todate, i ordered my chip today, receiving via fedex, so im guess mon er tues being this is the weekend now, so i will be hollarin atchya , one question though, i just want to use the chip to fix my brokin boxs wit no hds then i might install the chip in my other workin xbox not sure , but, i have been reading tutorials on installing an info on the xecuter, now im a noob at chips, but i was reading and do i have to flash when i install, i just want to retrieve the eeprom, just like to learn this stuff,

yea you have to flash the bios on the x3 its self and if ur 2 moxes are the same version moving the chip from one to the other should be no prob

ah, well my boxes are diff versions and i got the adapters fer the diff versions, and i got the xecyter 2.6, will i be ok

Just a bit of a suggestion.
Since you're going to be installing mod chips in both consoles, don't even worry about the EEPROM. That's really only an issue with stock and soft modded Xboxs. With a chipped box, you can run it with an unlocked hard drive, so all you'd have to do is install the new hard drive and format it. The easiest way to do this would be to either get AID or Slayer's and have it format and install all the applications automatically.
Afterwards, you can just lock it using either the X2.6 or an application that supports.
Also, if you transplant the chip to another Xbox, then be sure to install a softmod on that chipped Xbox beforehand.

ok, sounds easy enuff. like i said im a noob wit the chip, new to me, i think i have aid and slayers but not sure what to do with them, the only reason for me getting the xecuter 2.6 chip is need to replace hds in couple of my xboxs, so i will swap the chip from box to box to do the nessesary repairs, an would like to do this the easiest way posible :), if i can just get a working drive in the box, i be happy wit that,

ok , i got my chip, i cant find a good tutorial on installin it, i have an idea but i cant find a tutorial with good pics, i keep findin for th xapter adapter, i have another that is small and black, and the pin that comes off the adapter doesnt reach where its supposed to go, so if i can get a link, be great, i am xecuter2.6 ce lite. sodderless 1.4mobo,

well i tried using Ev tool, to make a cd but everytime i try to open a bios on it, says invalid, so i guess dont have the rite files which i thought i did iwas tryin to use Xecuter2.Build.4975, evox m8plus bios for version1.6 and then i tried X2.5035 for version 1.0-1.5, nothing seems to be workin here fer me, such a headache lol,

ok, this where i stand, i got the chip installed, i made cd with bios bin 4977 and dummy file, and i made another slayers disc, but i think its bad, not sure,had bunch of errors wher it was verifin, havnt done anything wit em yet cuz not sure if this is whut i am supposed to be doin. lol

actuall they way i tried didnt work, then i tried thrwew http...both ways aid couldnt find bios update..halted, so now i dunno whut to do
ok i switched it to bank 2 , turned flash off, the i HTTP the flash and i got yellow bar, said it was updated, but now i switch back to bank 1 and i get power cycle 3 times, an christmas lights, but if i swtich bank 2, i get blue screen with same options
lol, dude, im so guessin at this shit lol, i HTTP a new BIOS.BIN file, and it workin, it flashed with a diff bin. then i unlocked a modded hd an slapped it in the box, and it booted right to the dash, so my question now is, how do i get eeprom off the board so i can take the chip out and make a new hd for it??

Auto.Installer.Deluxe.v3.10.Xbox-Hq package file that i got, and had bunch of 256 and 512 and bunch of other bios bins in there
