I have had good results at supermedia store http://supermediastore.com

4x, 8x, 16x indicates the speed that you can burn the disc at. Choose the disc speed that is equivalent to your burners capability. TY is great media, probably the best there is.

Check out the threads in this forum and you will learn a lot about media.

I bought 200 at supermedia store for 56 dollars. Thanks for the help. One more thing....I heard it is not good to burn at your burners max speed cause it can cause freezing and things, so to burn at 4x at the most....what do you think about this???

What's your max speed? Mine is 16, so I burn at 4x. A lot of things factor into the decision if you should burn at max speed. If everything on your computer is updated and healthy, and more importantly, you're using great media (such as TY), then maybe you can burn at the max speed. So why don't i burn at 16x? No need to. The difference in time between 16x and 8x is like 3 minutes. I can wait that out.

Besides, less errors can arise when you burn at slower speeds.

Speed of burn is a highly debated topic at this forum. The general consensus is that you can burn safely at 1/2 of the media's rated speed. Example: 16x media would be safe to burn at 8x. Many choose to burn slower however as it is felt that the slower burn produces less chance for error during data transfer from lazer to media dye.
