Ok I have a PS2 hooked up to a 32" Philips LCD tv. Problem is some DVDs i put in play fine and look great, while others while the DVD menu is on look great, but as soon as i go to play the movie the image quality gets not as sharp and i dont now looks like a cheap bootleg DVD. I dont understand why this happens, i dont think its the connection, i mean its hooked up through the RCA wires, white yellow red, but i mean some movies look great while others look so crappy. Its like as soon as it switches from the menu to the actual movie it just looses picture quality. PLEASE HELP if anyone has had this happened or now why this happens i would really appreciate some help THANKS!!!

might be the settings on your tv trying to fix the quality... try the ps2 on a different tv... for some newer TVs change pictures and movies to show up better on its screen
