Copying Video TS Folder to DVD

I have a movie on my hard drive, which has a folder named 'Video TS'. This contains all the files for the movie. How do i copy these files to DVD, so that the whole movie including the startup menu etc are on the dvd? I Tried using Nero but it says the movie is too large so reduces the size. It also doesn't show the startup menu and has broken the film into about 15 parts. Any ideas as to how i can copy this whole movie to dvd?

Hi there,

If Nero says it's too big, you can either burn it (VideoDVD Project) to a Dual Layer media (Much more expensive than Single Layer [DVD5])

or use DVDShrink, and compress it to fit to a DVD5 media.

Before you burn it, make sure this movie (VIDEO_TS) is in the proper video format.

Is it a PAL dvd ? Is it an NTSC dvd ?

If you burn it, and it's a PAL, and you live in the USA and need NTSC, it might not even play at all.

I own AnyDVD and PowerDVD so I can easily find out if it's PAL or NTSC, but I do not know an other way to check.

Anyone ?

Just what program did you use in Nero that it reduced the size. If the size is reduced it should be able to be burned.

what you can try to do is, convert the VIDEO_TS folder to ISO format. the use a program like DVD Decrypter to convert de DVD9 video format to DVD5. If DVD Decrypter wont decrypt ISO's the buy a DVD-DL and burn the ISO to that disc. then use DVD Decrypter and it should work out fine.

Try this - the burner portion supports directly burning Video TS files.
