one of the guys at school downloads funny user made skate movies on some sort of chat download place does anyone know what this is called its like bittorrent but mostly text what are these things called and where can i learn to use them?

but seriously dude who posted orginal q {jorgemarr} your mate is more than likely talking bout IRC which basically when you connect it is just a bombardment of text and you have to sift and type stuff that will hook you to download a file from the person sending it.

After you download, remember to look through the config and make sure auto-accept uploads is OFF.
