Yes it is. A good program to use for that is Autogk

btw try to get good codecs, like DivX. www.divx.com

it already comes with XviD, but i prefer DivX compression alot better.

Thank you for your reply excuse my ignorance when i downloaded autogk i seemed to have got 3 programmes avisynth 2.5 and VOB Sub. Also it appears this will download AVI files in MPEG4 format. Could you tell me if this is compatable with a programme i have arc soft video impression2 which i use to edit a lot of videos. Thank you
