USB Advance Freezes Please Please Help!

I am tired of going through all the posts about USB EXTREME / ADVANCE. Gosh people this is lengthy and everyone says they both are same. I did everything according to the guide, i have a PS2 Modded which runs backups and it is V9. I have a generic harddrive enclosure USB with USBADVANCE burned and nearly 4 compatible (according to the list) games installed on the hard drive. HDD is maxtor 60GB.I am trying to run a game, When i boot the ps2 with usb extreme it shows everything. it detecs the hard drive and it reads the games titles, and shows. but when i try to run the game it says "Please wait while reading the title...." (as far as i remember thats what it says) and it keeps hanging there. Never gets in to the game, Can some one help me out please? Thanks in million and please don't ask me to go and get a network adaptor coz i got a FAT PS2. (thick one). It's like asking someone in southpole middle to go climb a tree.

I know this doesn't help but, I don't get what that's supposed to mean at all!!! do you mean there's no network adapters where you live? I'm just curious

thanks friend, i really do appriciate your reply. :) i am living in SRI LANKA, remember where the tsunami his back in 2004. thats the place. NO network adaptors here and there are only very few shops which have even ps2s. Odering online cost more than the adaptor to the shipping :(
