Need a lot more information than... something like that... to be able to help. That's akin to telling to doctor you have a sore leg but not telling him what the pain is like or where it hurts.

after the movie encodes for the menu, it stops working and there is a pause with nothing encoding for the main movie and the movie skips when you previw it before you encode it. After the pause it says there is a problem with the disk spinning but when i watch it on a normal dvd player it works perfectly. There is no problem when it analisys the movie. The only problem is when i start to encode the movie. Also the movie skips alot of the scences and i have try to clena the disk but that didn't fix it. what can i do to make the movie encode and not skip scences.

Well this one does have macrovision's ripguard on it. Might be part of the problem.

Are you using anything else 1st - like ripping w/ dvdfab decrypter to your hard drive 1st? Shrink can't handle this one by it's lonesome.

Give that a go if you haven't- you can run those files thru VobBlanker b/4 shrink too.
Here's a guide w/ links:

Or there's RipIt4Me. All free also:

It's true The FAST and The FURIOUS TOKYO DRIFT has RipGuard from Macrovision, but it simply is just another piece of cake. As usual (1) DVDFAB (17 minutes to rip) and (2) process the VIDEO_TS.IFO through VobBlanker (5 minutes), then (3) Open Files from DVD Shrink and get your VIDEO_TS from VobBlanker and the rest is history.

For more info on how to use DVDFAB + VobBlanker + DVD Shrink + ImgBurn, THE FAST and THE FURIOUS TOKYO DRIFT (US Region 1) guide included, go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/334154
