1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

If the message was "Sim Card Registration Failed", you need an activated sim card. A new one!!

Set the mobile to automatic selection (if it's not already) to search for the O2 network.

I do not own a 6230 but try this goto settings find network services and set to automatic.

says no network acces when i go on o2 uk or when i go on automatic it says sim card registration failed just dont think it wants o2 sim in it lol

I'm at a loss mate. The only thing I can suggest is buying a new O2 sim, or try one of your mates (if they have an O2 sim). Sorry

Give O2 a call and activate the sim. When you have done that get back to me :)

If the same problem occurs buy a new O2 sim
