I recently tried slipstreaming Service Pack 2 into the Windows XP installer, but the resultant size of the disc was 800 MB.
I tried doing this with a software called 'nLite', but again, the same problem occured.

I wish to burn this to one CD. The guide I referred to said that the total size of the installer should be about 650MB.

Could somebody help?

How did you go about your slipstreaming procedure?

Take a look at the screenshot after Paul adds the files to the compilation in Nero. The size shown is approximately 620MB.
