I will first mention teh important facts:

1. I have a Modded SCPH-70012, but I do not know what the modchip is or what it's named.
2. All of my games a backups that have been burned on various types on DVD R media, but all of them are either dvd +r of -r.
3. They were all burned using Nero Express.

I've never had a problem with loading these games and they all played perfectly fine, until I played a backup copy of Font Mission 4. I played this game non-stop for about 2 and a half months and rarely did I turn the PS2 off. Then after I beat the game and the credits started rolling ait started skipping and wouldn't progress any further. I stopped the game and tried playing the other games I had and either:

A.(*) I got the red screen that told me to load a ps or ps2 disk
B. it would load all the way to the playstation 2 logo the stop loading.
C. The game played fine but wouldn't load atfer a cutscene or the cuscene would skip frequently.

(*)= when it told me this I would turn the ps2 off then on again and it would load fine but then I'd get either B or C.

As always any help is greatly apreciated.

It probably your lens starting to go. Happens when you use bad quality media as the laser has to work harder to read it. And since you say your games are on different types of media, then I'd assume they're of varying quality.
Best thing to do is always burn to the one type of good quality media & clean the lens regularly

Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!

Also be sure to write the disks a the slowest speed possible, it improves the quality of the backup.

It sounds like your laser is wearing out. You shouldn't leave your playstation 2 on all the time. The laser lens has a limited life spam of x amount of hours (not sure what the value of the x is) and so using the machine for short periods of time allowing your machine to not run constantly hot. As this increases wear and tear on the laser.
