Hi I just got the dvd and I'm having some trouble backing it up. Even ever I try to back it up with the AnyDVD ripper it just stalls out and doest move forward, when I try to back it up with clonedvd2 and easy ddvd shrink it says there is a cylinder redundancy.

I have the current version of AnyDVD as well.

Any help you can give would be wonderful.

Thanks

One more program to try before declaring the disc a loss....

DVDFab Decrypter - Rip to HDD first and then continue with DVD Shrink as usual.

If you get similar results make sure that the disc is free of dirt, scrathes and fingerprints. Could also be a bad press from the factory.

Thank you for the reply, sadly it did not work. I've seem to have somehow scrathced the dvd a little, perhaps that is the problem. I'm usually very careful with my dvds...

Is there anything I can do to "fix" the dvd at all. I tried cleaning the dvd with a lenes cloth so far. Any other tips would be most welcome.

Thanks again

You could try a local pawn shop, they sometimes have disc resurfacers.

A video rental store may resurface it as well.

Thanks for the reply, what exactly does a resurfacing do? And how much does it usually cost? I will give hollywood video a try on the weekend. Thanks for the info.
