I was playing, one of my backup games. It was playing fine for two days or so. Then I decided to play guitar hero a retail copy. Then when I decided to play my back up copy. the discs won't read anymore.

Retail discs work but none of my back up games.

I have a version 7 ps2. (not sure what mod chip it is, had someone install it.)

my media is maxell, not sure why it worked before but not anymore.

Tried cleaning the laser in the disc error faq, but that didn't work.

any tips?

Your modchip could have stuffed up or it could be the discs that you are using

Xbox 360 BenQ = ixtreme 1.6
Xbox 360 Lite On = Not working :(
Kreon SH-D163B = The Best thing out of them all :)
