I have a Direct TV receiver with a Tivo-type hard drive and I would like to burn some of the material to DVD-R so I can watch I on my home theater DVD, but I do not know how to do it, the file type to "save as" or the program to use. I want to use the optical and SVHS out from the Direct TV receiver to connect to my computer. Programs I have include DVDXCOPY, Roxio EZ CD & DVD Creator 6.0 and an ATI program & card with a built-in TV tuner. What file format do I need to burn to in order to play on my DVD? Any help will be appreciated.
