hi i just found that there is a trick where you take a blowdryer on high temp to your warranty sticker for about 2-3 minutes then peel back SLOWLY, as you still have the blowdryer on the warranty sticker.supposedly it works but its not explained enough.anyone have experience with it because i want to use tape and tissue mod and somehow getting the sticker to stay on.

the warranty is what 90 days? I have rarely heard of people actually having their ps2 screw up in the first 90 days so, give what you said a try and if you screw it up oh well! or just wait out the 90 days before doing the straw and tissue mod.

yea cuz i've seen on afterdawn that many people damage their ps2's even with magic keys so i'd rather void my warranty using tape mod but actually not screwing up my ps2 that way.thanks anyway

Yeah I found it easier on my v14 to just take the case apart (well past 90 day warranty) and just taping the lid sensor down, taking off the disc brake and hooking up the toggle switch to the eject door switch. Works real easy and is a breeze besides having to use the magic keys.

Also saw that one link where you can solder a wire across the back sensor (sensor switch under hinge). Matter of fact this is the tutorial I used to tape, remove disc brake and put toggle switch in.

The tutorial is pretty straight forward. Of course like always be sure you know how to solder if you plan going this route and taking time making sure not to screw anything up. I just taped over the sensor under the hinge, did not want to take cover off and solder across it, but the other two were really simple to do.

Then do whatever method you prefer, exploit or swap. I have tried the exploit with the ARMAX EVO and putting the cdloader.elf on my usb pendrive that came with it and works. Just a little bit to doing it all.

hey, this trick worked with my mobile phone void sticker. peel off slowly, to ensure there r no wrinkles on the sticker, then where it says void, on the bottom of the sticker coulour in in a black permanent marker.
