I have converted movie from AVI to dvd successfully. when I click on 'source" in the decrypter I am unable to find where the folder is located. My desk top comes up but when I type in Name of File (movie name I gave the job ie. "title01.avi") it can't find it. I also tried to type in "\Avi2dvd_temp" but it couldn't find that either. confused Thanks

When you click on 'Source', a menu opens and you can open 'Files of Type'then check 'All Files'.
Navigate to where the converted file is located and if it's the correct format, Decrypter will accept it.
When you say that you converted it from AVI to 'DVD', was it in fact converted to a format that DVD Decrypter can handle?

well, I used the instructions given on members-site.net/sharedmovies/faq.asp which I successfully muddled my way through once. So I haven't a clue if this worked or not. The movie shows up in the job completed but the decrypter softward seems not be able to recognise the file names I have tried. I downloaded the movie from AresUltra. I'm afraid I'm fumbling in the dark here with my limited knowledge of this technology. Any help is most appreciated. Where might the converted file be located? Thanks

What prog. did you use to convert this AVI to 'DVD'?
It must have indicated where it was going to output the converted files!
Are you sure it converted the file to "DVD" and not "MPEG".
I'm not really sure why you are using 'Decrypter'.It is normally used to rip files from an actual disk, although it can be used to write DVD compatible files to a DVD disk.

Thanks for your reply. Here's the latest goof! I hadn't installed the gnot properly, which I have now done. Got to the final write stage but got an I/O Error! message "Failed to Reserve Track Reason: Invalid Field on CDR". The disc I was using had less space than the image, but when prompted I chose "yes" to go ahead anyway. Could this be the problem this time?
