Help! Have Flip-Top, Can't Load Games w/ Swap Disc!

I recently replaced my PS2 case with a flip-top case. It works fine with original games, but won't play burned games! When the Swap Magic Disc [3.6] goes to the menu with the two options, I put in the game and press X, and either it gives me a black screen or an error, sometimes both of these happen with the same disc! I've tried burning with various programs [Alcohol, Nero, and DVD Decrypter], at various speeds. I tried cleaning my laser lens with alcohol. I've tried the Swap Magic CD Disc as well as the DVD disc! I've read various posts on here, and tried every tutorial possible. NOTHING WORKS. Is there a way I can fix it?

Its most likely the brand of media you're using to burn the games to. The PS2 laser is very picky & needs good quality media. I recommend RITEK G05 8x DVD-R, and burn at 4x.
Since you don't say what you're using, then that can't be confirmed.
Also, some games require additional loaders to boot, or may need rebuilding if they're too big for SM to boot.
You'd need to post what games you're trying to verify if any additional action is required by you.
