I have read many of your threads on your forum and while I do find it to be a very information source I am still tied with which way to go about how to process this. I have a PS2 V1 (bought on day October 26, 2000) I would like to soft-mod mine so I may play my backups. I have considered the following choices:
- Swap Magic 3.8 w/Slide Tool
- HD Advance 3.0 w/slide tool
- MC exploit via USB
Now something I am hoping you can confirm is how to execute the exploit. I have read and heard from some sources that the exploit can be deployed without any additional hardware except the USB flash drive itself and without using a bootable media. If anyone can provide any additional information on this I would appreciate it, and do apologize for another similar thread, however each scenario is always different.
