I recently accidentaly wiped my Xbox HDD while trying to install SlaYer's Auto Installer 2.6. My whole HDD got wiped including the dasshboard. I have recently purchased an Xecuter 3 CE Modchip in the hope that it will allow me to run Slayer. I flashed it with the Bios on the slayer disc using the "Flash from HTTP" Option. It flashed and looks like it works. I cold boot the slaYer disc, I definately made it a bootable disc when I was creating it buy it goes to the black and green "Contact Microsoft Support" screen with the number 16 in the top hand corner. Could somebody please help me?

Dude, Why would you even want Slayer? I in my own opinion have not used it, just cause it was a huge file size, and thought it was a waste of time. Do you just need that for a dashboard, or a Media Center or what?

If you want a Dashboard then, try to install EvoX, and then you can use a tutorial which is on this site somewhere, where you can make XBMC your dashboard. It is way nice to have and is better than most Dashboards (i.e. EvoX, Avalaunch, Slayer).

Slayer is awesome! Slayer has saved my life time and time again! Also, slyer is not a dashboard, it's the name of the guy who created it! The entire name is "Slayer's EvoX". Slayers is very powerful, allowing you to re-install evox and MSDash, lock\unlock your HD, change Bios, backup your EEPROM and many other features as well! And if you want to get smart, UnleashX is the best dashboard! You can even make it look like XBMC!

So don't mouth off about things you haven't even tried yet!

Anyway, try holding in your power button (little one) for three seconds when you boot and see if it'll give you the slayer screen! You can also Hotswap to re-install your dash!
