You want the cooler running 360. I thought I had read that they weren't going to switch until sometime in '07... but I could be mistaken. Anyhow, the 360's have the mfg. date marked on them where you can see what it is without opening the box(packaging)in the store. Once you can confirm the date they start using only the 65's, then it should be easy to find one.

Sorry I don't know about a newer CPU because I haven't been following things the last few days, but I know a couple of MUCH harder to flash 360s are out there. I'd want to avoid those for unless you are wanted to tackle the challenges they present.

Well a new hit. showed up in Australia and a new sam. showed up in the States. Both also have that "black-glue" on them (prevent modchips). Don't know about the hit. but the poster with the sam. said it came off fairly easily with heat.

Use that guide database and then sort them by manufactor date to get the latest made.
