PLEASE HELP IM STUCK! MS25 360!

Hey I don't know what I am doing wrong. I followed this guide to mod my 360, that I got off of this site. I bought the card that the tut said, and I was able to get my origianl bin easy. I then went and did the hex thing as the tut said. Then I saved it as it said, shut down my computer, reboot and then hooked my 360 back to the computer as it said and then typed in at the A> screen mtkflash w /sata /m modified.bin, and it starts up like it is going to take it and then it never moves from updating 00%. after about 1 hour of waiting and nothing i stopped the process. My 360 power light is now blinking when i power up my box but it isnt working for me. What i need is someone to work with me and tell me what I need to do to fix this problem and where I need to go to get the proper tut on how to get this done. Please give me the directions to do it step by steP. Thanx for everyones help.
HACKING THE XBOX 360
Okay this is my first tut ever. So please have sympothy on me. Okay lets get this started.
THINGS YOU WILL NEED
*Computer with sata slots on it or you can buy a sata card i recomend this one

*Floppy drive and a blank Floppy
*An old wire for grounding.
*An xbox 360.
*Torx screw driver and a hair pin.
*A celebration beer! :)
Okay first off you want to know what drive you need. The picture below will help you identify which drive you have. If you have a samsung continue reading this tut but if you dont sorry i dont know how to do a Hitachi-lg :(
Okay first off your going to want to get your floppy read. First off instert your floppy then go into my computer. Then right click your floppy disk. And select format it should open up a new window click Ms-dos let it do it's thing. When it's done get mtkflash which you can get from any xtreme package before the 2.x's. Heres the thing if you have a onboard sata you dont need to do anything to the mtkflash but if you do you need to hexedit mtk flash you can do so using this tut.

Once you have your mtkflash sorted, transfer it to the formated floppy once that it done grab xtreme 3.3 or whatever you want to use throught torrent sites like

(be advised that this site only holds the old versions of the xtreme f/w)
Once you have the file go ahead and copy the .bin file to the same floppy once thats done you have your floppy ready.
Now how to open up your xbox. You can follow this tut but insted of using the Plastic key you can just use that hair pin it's alot easier!

Once you have opened your xbox up take a look at the number next to the word f/w if it is ms25 great! if it is ms28 sorry cant help you buddy. You can still do it but you have to look elsewhere.

MOD THAT SUKA UP
okay here we go open up your xbox 360 disconnect the sata from the dvd drive. Open up your computer locate the sata port, make sure to unplug hd and dvd drives anything on a ide or sata. Plug in the sata cord into the xbox 360 drive. Dont turn onthe 360 yet make sure that you have the xbox av cord in, just do it trust me. Once you have the sata connected it the 360 drive (make sure you havent connected to the computer yet!) insert you floppy and boot up your computer it should boot to an A: prombt if it doesnt just set your bios to boot from floppy. When it is at the A: prombt turn on your 360 then plug in the sata from your 360 drive into the computer. Then type
"mtkflash r /m orig.bin"
(with out quotes) It should start doing it or it might come up with an number selection type the corresponding number and there it goes! It should say reading xxx% and your xbox 360 middle ring should be blinking when done it should say Reeboot computer turn off your xbox and unplug the sata. Reconnect everything and boot to windows navigate to mycomputer and right click the floopy and click explore there should be a file called orig.bin KEEP THIS FILE IN AS MANY PLACES AS POSSIBLE email to friends email to self tape the a copy of it to a donkey i dont care just keep it safe!
Once done get a hexediting program i advise

Once that is done Place the MODIFIED f/w onto the floppy and turn of your computer. Insert the floppy reconnect the sata to the 360 drive only and boot up your computer when at the A: turn on your 360 and plug the sata into your computer (same as you did to get the f/w)
then type
HERE IS WHERE I CAN'T GET IT TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"mtkflash w /sata /m modified.bin"
(or what ever you called it.)
It should come up with updating banks xxx% when done poweroff xbox 360
and unplug sata and replug everything how it was and turn on you xbox 360 and see if it all worked.

dont care if your underage! hahaah
if it didnt just redo my steps.

leave the x360 switched off get to the a:\
and type the following mtkflash w /m modified.bin then switch on your x360 and straight away press enter on your keyboard

one other thing make sure you have not left any dvd drives or hardrives connected to your pc other than the x360 one as you could acidently be reading the firmware form another dvd drive

Think I see your problem already. Which firmware did you go with?
Also, edit out your email in your post. It's against forum rules. Plus, if any spammers/scammers get it you're emails gonna get flooded.

I WENT WITH FIRMWARE XTREME 3.3. THANX SHARKY I THINK I GOT IT! IT UPDATED 3 THINGS THEN SAID REBOOT COMPUTER. MY NEXT QUESTION IS HOW DO I KNOW IF IT WAS DONE? I PLUGGED IT TO THE TC AND IT STARTED UP THE SAME. IT MADE ME PICK ENGLISH AND MY HD IS NOT HOOKED UP TO MY 360 CUZ I HAVENT PUT IT BACK TOGETHER. I GOT TO THE SCREEN WHERE IT SAID MAKE A GAMER TAG. SO I TRIED TO EJECT AND PUT A REAL MADDEN 2007 GAME IN AND IT WOULDN'T EJECT. SO THEN I NOTICED THE BUTTON UNDER IT. SO I MOVED IT TO THE RIGHT TILL MY TRAY POPPED OUT. ENTER MY REAL MADDEN AND NOTHING SO. CAN I GET SOME HELP FROM THERE. REMEMBER IM STILL REALLY NEW AT THIS. THANX.

Did you use the "make x33.bin" program which came with the firmware download or did you manually hex edit your orig.bin?

dang! My bad thanx for the help. I did hex edit it. I did exactly what the tut told me to do. But i do rememeber seeing the bin file you were talking about. Now that i got the modified.bin to work should i go back in and use that other file or what. I really am lost and need your help. My green light is still flashing and I can't get it to eject either. Please guide me to the right way.

Not trying to be negative. Just trying to tell ya in a nice way. There others on this forum which will jump all over you.
Let's start back at the beginning. This is a quick run through. If you see any steps which are different from what you did, tell us.
- you got you're orig.bin, so we don't need to cover that.
- copy the orig.bin from the floppy and paste it right next to the "make x33.bin".
- double click on the "make x33.bin"
- a new x33.bin file now appears.
- copy the new x33.bin on to your floppy
- now reboot with the drive hooked back up to the pc
- type mtkflash w /sata /m x33.bin or mtkflash w /m x33.bin (with or without the sata- whichever you typed to get the orig.bin).
When you reflash with hacked firmware, you have to type the same name of the .bin in the mtkflash line at what you copied onto the floppy.

i did get the org bin - done
but instead of using the make x33.bin - I hex edited my orig bin
is that what i need to do us i can do that. but my question is if i do that and reflash my drive it wont hurt it right? also will that fix my flashing light and my drive not ejecting? if you have an aim we can chat that way to.

I don't have any messengers running, sorry. But I'll be here for awhile so I'll try to get you through it.
Try using the "make x33.bin" program which came with the firmware download. Just paste your orig.bin next to the "make" program and then double click on the program. Your pc screen will flash really quick and a " x33.bin " file will appear. This is alot easier than trying to hex edit your orig.bin yourself. Then just copy that x33.bin on to your floppy and reflash your drive. Just remember to type x33.bin and not modified.bin.
You can just reflash over what you have on your drive now. You've already got your orig.bin saved and the first time you reflashed that erased your orig.bin off the 360 drive and replaced it with what ever you had on your floppy.

my x33.bin doesnt come up when i try that way. i do see an xtreme33 bin file in it however is that it? i wont do anything else till you respond ok. wait a sec does it modify or change my orig bin is that the one im suppose to use cuz my screen does flash but no new bin. im working on two differnt computers here also so ill get your response quick.

Ok maybe this will help. When you open the firmware download, it looks like this:
Now, after pasting in your orig.bin and running the "make x33.bin" program, it looks like this:
Number 3 is what you want to copy and paste back to your floppy. Is this what you're doing?

okay check this out i got another x3.3 and i got my original bin i sent to my email, thats the only one i didnt hexedit and i tried it your way and it didnt give me the x33 still. maybe my original bin is bad. oh no what do i do. i didnt kill my xbox did i? does it change your bin when you hex edit it?

hey i tried flashing it with the x33.bin and it never got off the screen that said port 170, master/slave: b0
i dont know what to do now. it doesnt even have 00% it didnt even time out. any suggestions?
