Before I hack the firmware of my xbox 360 I must know if you can run a backward compatibility games on it with the hacked firmware (and upgrade the list from xbox live)

But you CANT run backups of original xbox titles. Not unless you rip them on a 360 and burn em to DL (very few titles warrant that much effort)

On that topic, anyone know if it'll always be like this or will we eventually be able to play DVD5 backups of XB1 titles?

so I do a make my xbox 1 backups on the xbox 360 ( I didn't undersand what u said about "rip them on a 360")???

oppenheim - Yes i mean you use your 360 loaded with an original xbox disc to create the backup then burn it to a DL disc. You use the exact same procedure as with making a 360 game backup

but do i need toe merge it with a ss.bin file or just burn it to dl disc

and can i download a ss.bin file for xbox 1 or can i split it from my xbox1 iso file with the ss merger (it did show something on the md5 box)
