ATI Player weirdness

In the past, I used to watch my DVD's using the ATI DVD Player. Now when I start up the program, nothing even shows up! When I restart my computer, it says its shutting down the program, but I didn't see it at all! I tried again, then hit ctrl+alt+del and sure enough, it was running, but why wont it reveal itself?! I tried reinstalling, but to no avail. It worked in the past though.

Any help would be very much appreciated. THANX
